Portland is one of my favorite cities. Visiting the Contemporary Craft Museum has always been on my list when I go. Check it out. You will not be disappointed.
Scrub Oak is essentially a collection of my 'favorite things.' A mixture of paper goods, clothing, jewelry, home decor, artwork and objects.
Sarah, the owner, represent a few local artists, a small number of designers from her years in nyc, and odds and ends from both the US and abroad. Some names you may recognize and others you may not: Loup Charmant, Doug Johnston, John Carruthers, Lilac Bow Yoke, Matta, The Green Vase, Ovo, Auntie Oti, etc.

What a beautiful location and amazing space to have. Just hop on the ferry, and when you arrive, walk 300 yards. The Museum is right on the corner. No need for a car. What a great day trip.
