Bunting (genus, Emberiza. family, Emberizidae and Cardinalidae). 

Spanning almost 40 species, the beautiful Bunting can be found flying about in Europe, Asia and Africa.  Old World Buntings are even spread across Siberia and parts of Northeastern Europe.  They enjoy marshy landscapes, are hardy little songbirds and can weather the cold landscapes they sometimes find themselves in.  With a range in plumage colors, the cheery mustered yellow breasts of some help bird watchers catch a glimpse of them in mid air flight.
