Shelli Markee
From her home studio in Seattle, Shelli handcrafts each piece in her jewelry collection - forging, hammering and carefully hand-selecting organic materials to inspire each piece. Clean lines and curves evoke a sense of balance and strength, integral to both Shelli’s design process and her aesthetic.
Since her childhood, Shelli has found inspiration in nature and from her loved ones. Her education in the arts began early, learning various mediums alongside a family of artisans in rural Minnesota. Shelli attended Houston’s Glassell School of the Arts in Texas. Shelli has since explored a diverse career as a professional artist, with work ranging from make-up artist, model, landscape designer, photographer, sculptor, and silversmith.

Shelli's choice of materials include sterling silver and brass in her jewelry line, and her wire art incorporates silver and mixed metal wire, wood, stones and other organic material.
